Pretty hard to come up with some sort of symbolism for lies that doesn’t involve a long nose or crossed fingers behind your back… And if you do find something else that would work, it’s probably not going to be understood by the majority of the population out there… I like to use google’s image search, get a few windows open and see how society defines any given terms visually, and the result of these findings usually ends up being clear communication.
