With some help from my dad’s shop, I designed, cut, welded, and screwed this bad boy together. Needed an island longer and narrower then what I seen was available out there, so I ended up just doing my own. An obvious Chinese pattern was used, that made the two shelves integrate nicely. Wanted it to have a rough finish, more gritty industrial or something. Polishing took a lot of time, as the raw steel had a fairly rough finish on it.
